After reading the book jacket, all I could think about was that Golden Girls episode where Sophia answers a personals ad, but the guy's sister insists on going on all of their dates with them. Turns out she's his wife, and she wanted him to find someone so he wouldn't be alone after she died. In the end, they realized that they should spend what time she has left together.
That episode had more twists and turns than this book, unfortunately. Nothing surprising really happened. For every new character, situation, and obstacle introduced, I could see where it was going from Point A, to B, to C.
The writing wasn't bad, but not super exciting either. I had high hopes for this book, but it didn't live up to my expectations
