i saw this book when went to oaxaca and it sounded interesting. it was ok- but i think reading it in spanish would have been a totally different experience. i feel like it probably lost a lot in the translation and just would have been a lot more beautiful in its original language. a good story- hard to get into, but if you must, then stick with it.
