Noah Ashton, a billionaire computer magnate, returns to a small Montana town to see his beloved grandmother marry a neighbor. There, he meets and woos Julie Renton, the schoolteacher who is the granddaughter of his grandmothers fiancé.
Noah, however, has been living life in the fast lane for a while and his health isnt as good as it used to be. How he and Julie overcome their initial resistance to each other (Noah believes that Julies grandfather might only be after his grandmothers money, a legitimate concern) and finally end up with each other is sweet. Julies character is what all small town people should be like: charming, kind, and friendly. Shes also not a complete idiot, either, which is more than I can say for some of the other Love Inspired books where small town people have small minds.
The romance between the pairs grandparents is warm and loving, and serves as a good reminder that true love knows no age. We root for Noah and Julie all the way, despite obstacles including his money and his health and Julies belief that shell never run in his rarefied circles. Recommended for lovers of happy endings.
