This is one of my favorite Christopher Moore books, at least for the laugh out loud funny bits. I had my bookclub read it and it was universally enjoyed (so it isn't just me).
There is a little bit of crossover with the BloodSucking Fiends characters, which is great. There are new, ridiculously funny characters, even more crazy things happening in San Francisco, and a new twist on our souls, death and harpies.
