Ive never reviewed (or planned on reviewing) a devotional but ever since I saw the Moms Night Out movie trailer while my family and I were waiting for Gods Not Dead to start, I knew I wanted to see it. Did I mention Tricia Goyer novelized it? Yup! I then knew I had to read the book as well.
Before you ask; yes, Im a Teen (15 next month to be exact), so Im nowhere near becoming a Mommy. But, Im a babysitter! That counts for something, right? A Mother-in-training? No? Hmmm.
I didnt use this as a devotional, I just sat down and read it. An even 200 pages of hilarious stories, Scriptures and Prayers for the Soon-to-be Mom & New Mom.
I asked my Momma to read this devotional and she said she would! (Yknow, after I begged. ;) ) She said that she couldnt relate to it (me being her youngest of two) because she had such wonderful daughters. (Of course, Im her favorite. ;) ) And that it would be good for New Moms or Moms with younger children.
