This was a wonderful book. As a dog lover, I was hooked right from the get-go. What I didn't expect was the complexity of the mystery combined with the author's sense of humor. I found myself laughing one minute and sitting on the edge of my seat the next. The characters are so well developed, including the characters of the dogs, especially Vira and Sue that you just want to say "I know them". Great read, highly recommended. I look forward to the next.
