Could not finish the book due to my disgust for just about every character in the book, foremost the narrators' idiot mom for leaving him with a motley crew of pyschos,molesters, and other mental defectives that I would not trust a hampster to much less a young child. Several explicit scenes in which the author is raped/molested by the second worst character, a molester living with the bizarro family. Appearantly this author has made an entire literary career ( at least 4 books?) about his disfunctional family.......some stories are not meant to be shared. If you love reading about young children being subjected to acts of sodomy....this book is for you.
