Helpful Score: 1
A really emotional look at a married couple given a second chance at happiness.
Maggie Mckinney walks out on her husband on Christmas Eve. After spending 16 years together, her husband Ross has spent the last 12 of the 16 married to his job and aquiring more and more wealth. Maggie has become just another possession, and he re-molds her into what he feels a wife of a wealthy man should be. After finding out that Ross has committed the ultimate sin, she leaves him and runs - crashing her car on an icy road.
She spends the next eleven months relearning to do every basic thing that all of us take for granted. Her doctor releases her from the rehab center, after guilting her soon to be ex-husband Ross into staying with Maggie for 2 months until she is healed enough to survive on her own.
Maggie has lost all memory of that final Christmas Eve. She knows that her marriage was on the rocks, but can't remember the awful news that sent her off just before the car crash.
Ross slowly changes - Maggie begins to see glimses of the man of her dreams before ambition changed him. She doesn't know that he feels the same regrets and heartache..or that his greatest fear is that her memory will return. What will happen when she remembers why she fled him last year? It will take a miracle to send the walls of anger and secrecy tumbling down and reunite the divided couple. But in the small town of Bethlehem, miracles do happen.
