I couldn't get past the book being written in the third person singular. And I'm glad I couldn't, honestly. Once I realized I wasn't going to put the effort into wading through a difficult point of view, I read some reviews on the novel. If I'd know the book was about a confused, late-30's woman who has an affair with a married man and dismisses her actions casually, I wouldn't have wasted a credit on it. But since I didn't make it past the first chapter, I can't really write much of a review on it. It's a miss, in my opinion.
