The littlest witch is not like the other witches. On Halloween she doesn't want to play pranks on children or scare animals or do other witchy things. She and the other witches have their Halloween race to the fly across the moon. The prize is a beautiful cobweb cloak. The littlest witch is unable to finish, but instead of winning the race she finds her place, just the way she is.
It's a really really sweet story with lovely illustrations (I remember really really wanting the cobweb cloak even though I was afraid of spiders!). It teaches you that it's okay to be different and do things at a different pace than other people.
So sweet. Great for a Halloween read to children.
