I found myself wanting to stop reading this book several times. No one could possibly be as dumb and as gullible as Gracie came off in this book. Her mother was sexually abused by her father and convinced Gracie that all men were animals in bed so Gracie was terrified of sex. But, Gracie has a sister Glory who is happily married. Don't you think that Gracie would have talked this over with her sister? Also, her thinking that Jason would reject her because of things her father did to her in the past was beyond irritating. The way I look at it was that if Jason would reject her for something that happened in the past, then she would have been well rid with him.

And don't get me started on Jason. If any guy had done to me or talked to me the way Jason did to Gracie and talked to her, I would have kicked him down the road and told him not to bother coming back.

This was one of the weakest Diana Palmer books I have read to date. Her formula "the big misunderstanding" is getting a little old.
