This book is about the crimes they can't show on tv because of the nature of the crime, Kenda can write the story just like he tells the story on ID, he gives a very good insight into correct police procedure and tells you straight out that what you see on the tv shows nothing is correct about it but then it's a tv show isn't it?
He did a very very good job writing this book and made it so interesting it's hard to put down and that is the 5* rating because you don't want to say the story is great because they are his true stories and some of them are horrible and those are the ones they can't make for his ID Homicide Hunter show.
If you watch Homicide Hunter and know the way he tells the story and he has certain phrases he uses that will make you chuckle, he also writes that way and you'll get a chuckle or two from some of these true crimes he's worked on, over all I'd recommend this to anyone who like the crime genre.
