I enjoyed this mystery! It was unpredictable and engrossing. The only thing that was little off were the sentences hinting towards great revelations to come... Luckily, those sentences lived up to their promise and the secrets were sufficiently satisfying. The book had a better plot than McMahon's _Island of Lost Girls_, but the characters were not as strong in this one. All in all, I enjoyed reading this and I am looking forward to reading her next book!
