Exciting vampire romance. Steamy too but not too much. Good plot and I really liked the characters, especially Marcus Cage who has escaped an experimental lab and abducts Josephine to use her car. He also needs her help but never explains to her clearly what he was running from. This leads to misunderstanding whereby Jo unwittingly gets Marcus recaptured. I found myself getting angry at this womens' naivete, that she just believes the story of Marcus' breakdown from a man who tells her he works for the government. Overall though, I found this book, "sexy, exciting, and just plain thrilling....An utterly engaging new world" as written on the back cover.
