Do you like sweeping and dramatic historicals? Than this debut novel is absolutely for you.

The Thornbearer has a captivity about it that even when you've had to set the book aside, you can't stop thinking about the story, the characters, the setting and the history itself that has become a character in this book.

The idea behind any story might seem simple, but once you start reading this novel you quickly realize the execution of the story is far from simplistic. Ashleigh and Sam are complex and intriguing characters, captivating my attention with their chemistry and conflict on the page.

The story is raw. Real. Engaging and ultimately uplifting. Romantic and sweeping across breadth and time, The Thornbearer is one of those stories that won't leave your mind once you've closed that last page.
