This is a quiet and powerful book. It reflects deeply on the dynamics of raising a family in the 80's and 90's that includes children of different races. It showed to me how much has changed in the intervening years with people's perspectives. I thought the author did a beautiful job portraying the life of Rebecca and her extended family.
