I found myself really enjoying this book. I have to agree with one other reviewer that the character was strong, and didnt make dumb decisions that made you want to scream, you dumb bimbo! Or question her common sense. The book can be shocking at times, I mean we were only four pages into the book and she gets attacked. and some of the innuendo caught me off guard. I would think wow did I really just read that?

This line, "She has a bush that needs some trimming, and you just might have the right tool! "

So the love scenes were steamy in just the right way, but this isnt mild cozy, so dont be fooled by the cover. If you are offended by steamy graphic love scene that give you a lick by lick description either skip the book or just skip over those few sections. I think the loves scenes helped you better understand Tara Halloway's dilemma between her feelings for Brett and the concern that he might be a con man.
The loves scenes wont scare me away cause I think this is one author that writes it well, No yearning burning, "the earth moved" or molten lava stuff. It just seemed like 2 confident adults who were ready to commit. You wont be teased with an on again off again boyfriend teaser.

Also I really loved the other characters, her co worker, her boss, her DEA, friend. AND get this she likes her parents, not one of those oh I am running away from my crazy wacko mom and rotten nephews. I like that when a character loves and respects her family.
