Meh, I know it has all these wonderful reviews but I just had a hard time getting into the story, staying with the story and liking the story.
Coming of Age books don't seem to be my thing and that is what this is. I wasn't fond of the over the top descriptions of sea life so that didn't help with keeping my interest in the story either. Kid goes to the inlets and bays at night and finds unique creatures.
