I enjoyed this book, the characters were well portrayed and it was easy to get to know them. The back story is about two sisters Amy and Kyra, as close as could be, Amy who was very needy fell apart early on.
The story involved the kidnapping of David and Kyra's child, and a note that said he would be home shortly after getting to know someone who loves him. David believes his ex wife is involved and the story of their marriage was revealed. It seems they had a child who died and lots of secrets were kept from us. What I never did understand is how Josha died! Did Courtney, his ex, kill him? It was portrayed that she was bi-polar, but that question was never answered for me. Maybe I missed something somewhere??

It is finally revealed the kidnapper was the 16 year old daughter of Amy, who was looking for her mom since she was adopted at birth. She found Kyra, her mom's sister but didn't know Kyra had always searched for her sister after she said she would never see her again.
The ending fell flat, I feel there should have been more...It just ended......
