Finished this one, but will have to read #9 to see what happens with the "Kingdom vs the 34th FIST." Or maybe not. While this book did have some high points, it seems too many solutions in the War Against the Skinks were very convenient. And it got worse in the last few chapters.
A copy of "Hitler" emerged to take control of Kingdom, in the same way Adolph did Germany in the 30s. As a result, I can almost tell you the complete plot of the next book without having read it. I bet I even know who the Evil Leader's "Consort" will be.
