Michelle Knight had a rather unsettled childhood. Parents never seemed to care about feeding her, clothing her, housing her. She eventually ran away and ended up pregnant. She went back home with her baby boy, Joey.
She did not have many friends, but knew a few girls and some of their parents. She is raising her son to the best of her ability and seeking jobs. The father to one of her friends has offered her a ride to find his daughter and he brings her to his house on Seymour Ln, Cleveland for a supposed short stop to pick something up. He lures her into the house with the promise of puppies.
From that point, Michelle's life becomes one of pure torture. Ariel Castro chains her, takes her clothes, beats her, and keeps her a prisoner for 11 years.
I think this is one of the strongest women I will ever know about. This woman does so much for other victims and I think she is amazing.
