I really enjoyed this story of a wounded hero and heroine finding each other. Chapman's alpha males are a delight and the service dog aspect of this story was a nice touch. My one complaint is that we learn all about what has caused the heroine's liteeral and figurative scars, but we aren't told much about the hero's past except that he was at war. If you liked Chapman's other books, I think you'll like this one too. If you haven't read her before, you'll be asked to believe in a little bit of magic.
