This is my second Amanda Eyre Ward book, and she once again creates a story and characters that immediatly draw you in. It's interesting how she entwines the lives of Franny, Karen, and Celia, and while you may not like them sometimes, you get to know them and respect them. These are women with flaws and yet they each find a way to maintain their dignity - something I think we forget is available to all of us in some measure no matter what the circumstances.
