"Careful!"
Alison is back in her haunted guesthouse. Resident ghosts, Maxie and Paul both have requests for her. Maxie's ex-husband's bones are discovered and she wants Alison to find his murderer. Paul reveals that he was planning to ask his girlfriend to marry him and needs Alison to track her down to see how she is doing. Oh, and Alison's ex-husband shows up.
Alison has developed a program for residents to "see" the ghosts and has tours that revolve around Maxie and Paul. She and Melissa try to keep this away from The Swine (the ex). A biker hires Alison to investigate the death of Maxie's ex, Big Bob. A little romance ensues. Paul's former girlfriend is more elusive and takes a bit to track down.
This is such an enjoyable series. It grows with each installment. I like the interaction between Alison, Lissa and the ghosts. Lissa is particularly sweet with them. The mystery was good and kept you guessing. A particular twist was not what I had hoped for Alison.
I look forward to the next book.
