This book sheds light on an attempted Nazi raid that I was unfamiliar with. The author goes into great detail of the preparation, the landing at two different coastal points, the intentions of the saboteurs and their very different personalities. It follows their arrest and punishment, and brings into play the politics of the time (the jealousy and disjointed cooperation between the FBI and the military and even the President and his staff). It reads like a novel, full of suspense and factual information that combines to make this a very good read. Very well written and keeps the attention of the reader.
