Such a fascinating, can't put down read. I can't tell if this was a fiction story but it says memoir so I couldn't believe what a childhood the author goes through. I felt so mad at the parents who bring 4 kids in this world and do not take care of them. So sad. An alcoholic dad, careless mom who can teach but instead spends hours on hours painting and not giving her kids a better future, and the places the kids get brought to, each worse than the other. These parents are such a disgrace, how can anyone say that they loved their kids.
