Lisle MacHugh is out on the moor trying to find auld Angus MacHugh, he's out wandering the the with two items the English have forbidden(pistol and bag pipes). The English are out to kill him, when they find Lisle, highland lasses are not safe with the English. The Black Monteith interrupts and spirits the lass away.
The wealthy Langston Leed Monteith, aka the Black Monteith, a powerful Scottish Laird has a very bad reputation, and does deserve some of it. He is working to free Scotland from the oppression visited on it by William the Butcher, and Captain Barton and his so called Highland Rangers
