I read Passion and thought it was good. I was not eager to read Patience but I was curious. So I bought it and I did not compare it to Passion. Passion is the first book of Lisa Valdez and was a great book. Different than the other books I've read because it had a story of it's own and the book held it's own in my opinion. However I kept and open mind going into this story. All I knew was that this was Patience's sister. I did think the story developed well and was glad Patience was not a whiny or spoiled character. I liked that she knew what she wanted and went for it. She was not afraid of what she would encounter if she gave into the submission. I wanted to know how this character would feel after giving into the temptation of submission and see if it would be love or lust. In my opinion it was both.
