I loved this book. Loved it! I am literally counting the days until Wildfire comes out. I had big expectations for this one after reading Burn for Me, and the writing team of Ilona Andrews once again did not let me down!
Nevada's character goes through some huge changes in this installment, and it was great watching her realize her strengths and her place within the magical society. I also really enjoyed seeing her go up against Rogan in disagreements, and totally hold her own. Those arguments were some of my favorite parts of this book.
Rogan- oh, my! While he was almost too detached in book 1, there was no danger of that in book 2. His character showed far more emotion than I ever expected, and I liked it!
The book ends on a wicked cliffhanger, so I am really glad book 3 is set to come out later this month.
