Almost Like Being in Love is truly a delightful and captivating read. A novel that is all but impossible to put down with characters that invite you in to discover their story. This one should not be missed this summer for fans of Christian romance.
The subtleties and intricacies that are woven through the characterization and storytelling jump this book into life with true-to-life characters that feel as real as your next door neighbor.
Dialogue is witty and pinched with sass, story world is vibrant and Caron and Kade's romance tap dance a believable rhythm of "will they or won't they?"
I'm a lover of the nontraditional romance. The kind that isn't just all about guy getting, losing and finally getting the girl. Almost Like Being in Love blends complicated questions and characters, with answers that demands the reader jump with both feet into the story to find the answers right along with the characters. I was captivated. Charmed. Emotionally drawn and tethered. A recommended read this summer and any season!
