I'm sorry to say this book annoyed me. I felt like it was too similar to other urban fantasies such as the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton and the Allie Beckstrom series by Devon Monk. If you haven't read these series, I think you will enjoy this book.
The action scenes are well written and the characters are fairly interesting.
