"Fade to White" is the second in the series featuring Stacey Curtis. Picking up where the first "Double Black" left off, I would recommend reading the books in order for character backgrounds.
I relate to Stacey, as I too moved from "down south" up to Vermont to follow the dream of being a ski bum. Now, settled down with a family some 20 years later it was fun to go back and relive those first few seasons.
The small town in the series is pretty much identical to the one I live in at the base of a Ski resort and offers up it's share of quirky residents.
The mystery was fun and it did keep me guessing until almost the very end. It's nice seeing Stacey establish relationships with the locals.
Will definitely be looking forward to the next one!!
