Cassie is an artist. She has multiple jobs to make ends meet. So when she is getting evicted from her current apartment, she comes across someone renting a room for cheap. It turns out the roommate has some secrets.
This was a fun book with many laugh out loud moments. Cassie was somewhat of a fuck-up, but was trying her get her shit together. She was likable and it was refreshing to have a character to not be "all that" and pleasantly imperfect. Frederick was fun too (he was in a coma for 100 years and knows nothing of the current time period and needs Cassie's help). Their binge watching Buffy was funny.
