A truly incredible biography of Abraham Lincoln. The book is one of the greatest accounts of historical fiction, filled with fact from his childhood through adulthood; his journey through Congress and Senatorial years, the Civil War years, and his Presidential campaign.
A thorough historical adventure from his running mates during his campaign trails, an accounting of the Civil War from the North and South. A great writing within the book tells his view on anti-slavery and those apposing.
Many of his speeches are highlighted, and other tidbits of information can be found. I found the book very, very interesting. What I learned can be added to what was learned in American history class in my school years. A very worthwhile book to read!
