I have been a fan of Nancy's books ever since I read my first one, Simple Secrets. One reason is the whole Mennonite thing. I have a hard time finding Mennonite books I like reading but this one kept me intrigued and satisfied at the same time. Her new one is no different. Escape to the quiet town of Kingdom and find mystery, adventure, and even some romance:)
This town of Kingdom is no stranger if you have read her previous books and I very much liked that. I felt like I was back in the town of Harmony from her first series. These books are not the normal Mennonite boring book but they have a lot in them and quite interesting as well. I immediately fell for Lizzie's little girl, Charity, part of which might be the shared names:) And don't get me started on Noah! Wow! But you can't forget her boyfriend that left her and all of a sudden shows back up. This is a book I finished in one day and was waiting for more. Can't wait for the next one in the series, Unbreakable!
I received a copy of this book for review purposes. I did not receive any monetary compensation.
