Amy Carmichael is one of my all time favorite biographies. Her story is incredible and inspiring. In 1895 she embraced the unusual misson one that would lst the remaining 56 years of her life. The Dohnavur Fellowship in India would become a sanctuary for more than 1000 children who would have otherwise faced a horrible future.
Her life was characterized by obedience, totall commitment, and selflessness and serves an example to all of us. Those the world regarded as less than lovely, she saw with the eyes of God and even gave her life for them.
A 5 star biography - very inpsiring!
