Enjoyed this book by the Pulitzer Prize winning author. Anyone who is interested in the current situation on the Korean peninsula, or in Chinese/American relations, should read this book. There's a lot about Pres. Truman and Gen. MacArthur, and lots of personal accounts of the various major battles. You don't get a whole lot of info. about the Chinese side, or even that much about the Koreans themselves. That's because the focus is on American perceptions of the Chinese, and MacArthur's flawed thinking about how the Chinese would react to the drive north to the Yalu River.
