I love funny books, and "Switcheroo" certainly had some laugh-out-loud lines and memorable moments, which was helpful in off-setting the altogether heart-breaking story of a marriage crumbling amidst a mid-life crisis.
As a wife myself, I could certainly sympathize with Sylvie Schiffer's plight, but I was really surprised to find how much pity I could dredge up for the young mistress Marla. The author, with humor and intricacy, has woven a tale of two women, who could be sisters, if not twins, and their adventure with the same man.
This book is so subtly humorous and so enjoyable, I could not put it down, and I highly recommend it for when you're looking for something different and a light read.
