Tess McPhail "Mac" left her small hometown of Wintergreen, Missouri at the age of 17 to pursue her dream of being a country music star. Soon the relationship between Kenny and Mac changes from feigned indifference to playful bickering, then passion and the life of a superstar is changed forever by the simple joys of love.
