I love Jane, I love that she isn't the typical cynical, leather-wearing, tattooed, weapon carrying heroine. Tracking the Tempest was not as good as Tempest Rising and I think it's due to the fact that there was a little too much sex, Ryu annoyed me, and I didn't particularly enjoy the conflict with the halfling (going to avoid spoilers here). In this book we did get to see more of Anyan as a man!! Jane is working at developing her abilities and at some points evaluating her relationship with Ryu; and, pretty much being a lot stronger than she gives herself credit for. Overall, I'd recommend this book-it just doesn't get the five stars that Tempest Rising got.
