This book deserves six stars or more. It is well written, without a shred of self pity or bitterness. How this man came to emerge from his disabled cocoon after decades of helplessness is an amazing story. His mind was active and complete long before he was able to indicate he could hear and see. He was forced to do nothing more than observe the world around him. When he is finally able to communicate, his brilliance shines out of his disabled, helpless body. An excellent and inspiring book.
