I read about 40 pages, and realized that I had read this before, and didn't want to read it again.
I wasn't a big fan of Flynn's Gone Girl: I found it self-indulgent, and I didn't think it was as clever as it thought it was. This was better -- the central character more complicated in a believable way -- but I still felt that anyone who makes a habit of reading "psychological thrillers" (which can be translated as "thrillers that aren't very thrilling at all ...") will see the solution to the mystery, and most of the twists, coming form a mile off.
