I've read enough of Traviss's stuff to know that she either really doesn't like the Jedi, or she does a REALLY good job of pretending she doesn't.
So she trashes Yoda in this novel. After her callous disregard of padawan killing in her RC books and her killing of Mara Jade, this book pushed her into my "authors I'll read but hope I never meet because I REALLY dislike them" category.
And making out that Ventress is just some hurting, confused and lonely woman because her master was killed added salt to the wounds.
I liked the story, I didn't like the "bias". Palpatine would have loved it though :-)
