This book open my eyes to another world. I was transformed into a totally new enviornment and culture. I loved this book. I loved the writing and the detail. The struggles women went through in traditional Chinese customs and traditions. This is the story of two young girls, and their lives through friendship, love, death, loss, poverty, and wealth. A great book!
