I found this a better read than the first one with much better pacing. I also can't wait to try several of the recipes in the back! The conclusion to the mystery was a little out of left field which is a pet peeve of mine. I also don't like the sherrif. Her grudge against Tricia is just a bit too much to be believed. I thought the relationships between the main character and her staff and her sister developed nicely. This series has a lot going for it but is not an automatic read for me yet.
