Whiskey and Charlie are twin brothers who are also best friends when really young, but they grow apart as teens and by the time they are young adults they barely speak to each other. When they are young they play with walkie talkies and use the code - Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, etc - to speak. Very cleverly done, the author uses the alphabet as the title chapters to tell their story. Whiskey (really William, but he renamed himself Whiskey from the alphabet when they played walkie talkie) is in a coma from an accident and Charlie retells their story in this book, as well as his story - his reflections on their relationship and his coming to grips with multiple issues. Family and love. Good book.
