I tried to read this. I really really did. I read for the escape, the story, the brilliance of the insight, the characters- a lot of things this book did not have. I felt like I was reading a coloring book.
I admit to a definite bias: I cannot tolerate the suggestion that the Lord is responsible for everything- while the book's characters aren't.
