Book Review of Dragon Wing (Death Gate, Bk 1)

Dragon Wing (Death Gate, Bk 1)

Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, known for their work in the Dragonlance saga, portray a fantasy world unlike many others. This, as well as the first four of the series, is fast past and well written. The first four books, follow the formula of Haplo and Alfred exploring a new world, and then at the last chapter, advancing the overall plot.

The worlds are very fleshed out and interesting, the characters are likable and the book is fast paced.

It's light reading material. For anyone who is into high fantasy, I highly recommend the first four of the seven book series.
