A whole new different type of paranormal romance, totally different for the Cat & Bones stories. This was hard to get into in the beginning but towards to middle it got better. Ivy is the last blood descent of King David, from David and Goliath myth. Adrian is also the last of his bloodline but from Judas, his people always betrayed the Davidism people. Ivy's sister was kidnapped by the demons and they want Ivy in exchanged so they can find David's slingshot so they can rule the earth realm and to kill off the Archons, aka angels and all thing Light. Ivy, Adrian, Costa are on a journey to find the weapon to free her sister but that was the easy journey. The next two books are her search for the Staff of Moses and the third of a weapon not named yet. This is also a building romance between Ivy and Adrian but they have to go through trials to be with and trust each other.
