Special Agent Portia Cahill, FBI, returns from her exciting undercover assignment in the mideast to find herself assigned to a case involving a jailed serial killer of young boys. She is resentful of not being able to continue her undercover work and takes on the assignment with little enthusiasm. During her work on this case, she meets Jim, the killers past attorney and they hit it off and eventually fall in love. When she goes to a new grave given up by the killer, everyone is surprised to find not one body of a small boy but two. As more bodies are found, Portia becomes emotionally entangled and out to get the killer. "Forgotten" is a very easy read with a good story line.
